Dr. Sabato successfully obtained a Master degree in Materials Engineer (2013) and a PhD in Materials Science and Technology (2017) at Politecnico di Torino. After his PhD he continued his research thans to two years post-doc fellowship. His research focused on advanced glass-ceramics sealants and ceramic protective coatings in the field of Solid Oxide Cells (SOC). In 2019 he worked as process engineer and supervisor at Glenair Italia S.p.A. in the field of glass sealed hermetic connectors production. He joined IREC in March 2020 thanks to Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA-IF), starting his research on 3D-pritable glass based solid electrolytes for Li-ion batteries.
